I get where you’re going with this— to highlight book banners’ hypocrisy— but trust me, they can, will, and have banned the Bible. They don’t read, and they don’t want anyone else to, because ignorant people are easier to control. People who wish to read the Bible are our allies here.

The bible itself is one big lie from start to finish it's a fantasy made up by narcissists to trick the masses into becoming as narcissistic as them through the constant self dick sucking written in the text itself not to mention just how much

"Jesus" himself constantly jacks himself off as this "all loving being" when he himself was just as violent as his father if not worse the entire story is just one ego stroker for a narcissist to go

I feel you missed my point entirely the manipulation/ narcissistic conditioning is within the writing itself of the bible meaning someone would actually have to read it to believe it and belief really is the trap itself they keep people in

Belief itself is just a cover word for ignorance and people who are conditioned into belief through ignorant writing will be forever ignorant until said ignorant writing is destroyed

Again, the fact that reading the Bible has lead to some Christians leaving Christianity, as well as some strengthening or reassessing said Christianity indicates that destroying it will do nothing to stop ignorance. How will destruction of a form of knowledge ever stop ignorance?

Because the bible itself isn't knowledge it's main purpose is to suppress intelligence and knowledge God is just the fairy tail the system made up to keep people from questioning the barbaric rules they force on both humanity and the land we all live on

The Bible is a compiled series of myths and legends compiled over time. It’s a source of knowledge. Its purpose was to have those compiled. Its use has been suppress, sure, but its use has also been to throw off suppression by believers. Why blame the tool for how it’s used?

But I read it— or at least translations into English— and it resulted in my not being Christian. That’s actually a very common trajectory for several ex-Christians, including exvangelicals. I encounter self-professed Christians all the time with an embarrassing lack of knowledge of their own Bible.
