The question is, will SCOTUS take up this case? If they do, then everyone in jail needs to start having their attorneys file briefs with the SCOTUS. Bury them in briefs!

SCOTUS doesn’t have to read briefs if they don’t feel like it. They don’t even have to explain their reasoning on why they rule as they have ruled. “Cases on the shadow docket do not typically receive extensive briefing or a hearing. The decisions are accompanied by little to no explanation…”
