You’re making it exclusive. Zionism is not, though it specifies Jewish people because so many other people have safe homes. Not all people, but some, and at the time of Israel’s creation, Jewish people didn’t.

Zionism is not "Jewish people want a safe home." They had that in the countries they came from once the Nazis were gone.
