We've found the example given in my initial post. We could also discuss how the Spanish on the islands feel about 'ex-pats' and the 2nd home owners and house prices etc, just like in Cornwall, but I'm sure Andrew the migrant is aware of those feelings. Put a line out, catch a fish!
Lots of people dislike immigrants and expats of all kinds. But thankfully others are tolerant even if not always welcoming.
