Hi! I was trying to figure out the order this happened in. Since you live in the neighborhood, can you say if I got this order right, or no? In the video ICE posted today, the banner reads "Chinga La Migra." Is this a 3rd banner?

I believe the agents tore down one banner (and left one dildo) on Friday, the one the agent balls up, that said "Chinga la Migra" on top. I think the NPR reporter found an older image of a earlier banner that had been replaced. In that picture the trees are bare; it's from winter.

So there were three. One that was probably replaced due to regular wear and tear, the replacement that agents stole Friday, and then the new "no ala Migra" one put up after.

ICE posted that video on Sunday, but I believe it was the same banner-stealing, dildo leaving incident from Friday seen in the ring camera, except this was the agents' video. Took a few days before someone at ICE decided, "Yes, it's a good idea to post this clip of our guys stealing a sign."

Ok. Then I've got it wrong! How about this order? (Alex Koma) Winter banner: No deportations etc. Friday's banner: "Chinga la Migra" removed. Dildo added. New banner: We are Artists etc. (still up?) (Presumably dildo is gone though?) Also, actions in the video tweeted by ICE match Koma's video.

yeah, I think that's right. The new signs were still there last I saw. I will check again when I pass there this evening. Dildo is gone.

That means ICE staged their souvenir photo with the dildo in situ. Unreal. Getting it right is very important to me. :) Only locals can get the details right on these kinds of stories. :) But, this one needed to be shared widely so we try. 🤷🏼 Thank you for being the native informant. 🙏🏼 🙏🏼 🙏🏼
