I thought they were cool. I understand your point though. The rest of the day’s lineup had an active engagement with the crowd, that was certainly different at PTM. I thought their big hit, oddly, felt out of place with the rest of the music they were playing. Despite the crowd response to it.

I saw alt j at osheaga years ago and was excited for them and their set was fine but 0 crowd interaction. Might as well have just listened to their album. That can be so make or break for a live show

Yeah that’s true. I personally didn’t feel that way last night. I enjoyed the PTM set, and thought they were interesting to watch and sounded good, it was a fun experience.

Now I’m happy we skipped out on Alt J at Ottawa Bluesfest

I think Alt J was the biggest mismatch in any show I've been to between my excitement and the outcome. Mercifully it was part of like 36 other fantastic acts I saw that week and it wasn't the only thing on offer.

Post Harvest rumblings. I’m very happy that I bought the ultimate pass though.
