Had a teacher in HS who was a retired semi-high-ranking army officer, & if/when you got detention for being late 3x, he had you spend an hour counting the dimples on golf balls by dotting them with a sharpie. "You waste my time, I'll waste yours." I always liked him. I did NOT like counting dimples.
