Dear Diary 🫠 Don’t get me wrong, I love it and 12 year-old me definitely identified with it, but it’s a fairly big sonic detour from the rest of the album. Would be a great bonus track. Also, Oops would benefit from one more uptempo in the 2nd half, like Walk on By.

Also, if we’re talking Britney writing credits, I’m So Curious (Sometimes b-side) is a bit more interesting to me and more indicative of where her sound was headed at the time.

yeah I suppose if I had to chop one that'd be it for sure. I like the bonus tracks they released for 25th anniversary edition well enough.

I wish there were more bonus tracks to unearth, but I get the sense that of all of her albums (including Baby) this was the one with the least material recorded for it. A couple of the tracks feel like rebranded Baby-era songs, so it’s impressive the album still flows so well.

And I’m a little mad when it comes to remixes that they didn’t include the Hex Hector mix of Don’t Let Me Be the Last to Know. In the early days of mp3 downloads, that was a particularly cherished discovery.

yes omg so many tracks unreleased and remixed lost to time across the board. I had a couple Xtina b-side tracks on her CD singles that I miss. Only available on YouTube at least
