No problem, they don't even need to hold the midterm elections. Trump will declare a national emergency and, presto, no midterm elections! Then in 2028, he will do the same and remain in office in a extended 2nd term. WE CANNOT WAIT FOR 2026 and hope things will be better. We must take action now.

When/ if there are midterms, I'm voting like I always do. No sitting at home for me just assuming it's rigged anyway. Too many fought tooth and nail for my right to vote

My concern is that Trump is reshaping the relationship between fed and states. There have been a couple of statements in passing that suggested elections to federal office should not be left to the states.
