I'm right there with you. I survived narcissists, and the ppl who keep saying that it doesn't matter rather likely didn't & it shows. If you haven't dealt with a narcissist that has control over you, than you aren't prepared sufficiently enough to move against this one.
However, they are incredibly predictable people once you are savvy to their dysfunction. And yes, that is in fact a useful thing to know when one is your president.
Absolutely. To deal with this guy you have to understand him. He’s actually not that hard to understand. But you have to get over the hurdle of attributing normal reasoning to him.
It's something that therapy and online survivor groups helped me process. You spend years just not being able to describe it to ppl because it sounds insane (because it is) and rarely do ppl see the real person. When you finally get the pattern of behavior, it becomes much easier to manage.
SAME HERE! Mind boggling trying to grasp their mentality! I always say, "trying to tell someone what it's like being with a narc, is like trying to explain the color blue to someone blind from birth". We lived it and it took 100s of hrs to understand. But dang, I can pick one out in a crowd!
Entirely a thing. that description is perfect for the decoding of cluster magical reality for ppl who've not seen it. If anybody you loved has split on you because you disagreed with them about something minor, than you understand a whole lot about Trump's reactions to any kind of disagreement.
I am delighted to see that many of our allies have *finally* begun to realize that Trump's broken brain is what they need to be reckoning with, and that trying to understand him within the same framework as a Biden or Obama or Bush or Clinton is simply a fool's errand, a waste of time, & dangerous.
