If you can, buy from local farmers. It will be more fresh, better quality and you'll be paying the producer rather than the packager. Look for your local farmers markets or farm share programs.

We’re getting some produce from local farmers who have been very helpful for me personally as I’m homebound Snap beans tomatoes cucumbers onions etc and a lol Serrano pepper that I accidentally bit into and suffered for a little while We also got several packages of ground beef from the farmer ty2
Yay! I don't eat meat anymore, but when I was in Georgia I got burger from White Oak Farms: local & (relatively) humane in that all animals spend their entire lives on that farm, AND it was the best tasting. (To preserve beans, boil 2-3 min, freeze on tray, then bag for later. Freeze tomatoes too.)
Thanks yeah my daughter has eaten all the beans and the cucumbers turned into cucumber water tomatoes most are gone used for pasta sauce Former chef and sous chef daughter in training She’s a great cook too Again thanks for your help
