It was a satellite state within the Soviet sphere of influence. Czechoslovakia was a communist country under Soviet domination from 1948 to 1989, and a member of the Warsaw Pact. So yeah, like Belarus now, de jure separate and de facto owned by Russia.

Lol it's not the easiest thing to spell. I had a friend from there so I know 1 word in Czech. Ahoi It means hello (Lol of course it does, any sailor can tell you that 🤣)
