Well they all opted to run in these special elections after the sitting Republicans left office for one reason or another (promotions, death, etc.) so I don’t know why they’d run if they didn’t want to win.

Oh. Thanks. I got confused. I thought the losers were MAGA incumbents who had not been holding town halls.

I just think it’s more likely a case of hubris. They thought there’d be no way they could lose in those districts, got cocky, and then lost.
