It's never been more important to build local resilience and strengthen community bonds. Nobody's coming to save us but us; we've got to take care of each other, and that starts with your neighbors. FEMA did a lot here after Helene, but MOST of the help, esp at first, came from our own.

On the plus side. I literally don't give any thoughts to retirement or stress about money. Not gonna be able to enjoy old age.
