Holy shite, what a difference. The photo doesn’t do justice to how bright and clear it is

An Akai CD3000i with its front panel removed to install a new LED display. A test boot up shows the screen works, and is a vast improvement on the old EL panel LCD one

Now I can remove the whiney inverter completely. Hope it just unplugs easily. I’m not a soldering/desoldering type
