Dehumanizing others is a tactic they use. We shouldn’t use their tactics.

Respecting a fascist's wish to be seen as a murderous fucking scumbag isn't dehumanizing anyone. It's merely acknowledging reality.
The person I replied to literally said they aren’t people. If that isn’t dehumanizing I don’t know what is. I’m not saying you have to respect nazis. We shouldn’t. But we shouldn’t dehumanize them either.
And I pointed out that being a murderous scumbag (also known as a fascist) is a choice and that respecting that choice isn't dehumanization, but acknowledging reality.
They had a list of ideologies to choose from and they picked the "Purge Yourself of Humanity" one. They aren't people. They do not want to be.
The idea that some people just aren’t people is the exact same idea they use to justify atrocities. We shouldn’t use their tactics.
Their tactic: "You are not a person because you are gay/trans/black/female/etc, and therefore we want to murder you". Our tactic: "Yeah, thinking that pretty much makes you a fucking monster that should be put down". They're not the same.
Correct. Nobody is born a genocidal freak. It's very easy to stop being that. You can't stop being the people these freaks want to kill. It's a zero sum situation and we're not the ones who made it that way.
I just think the death penalty is a bad thing.
I do agree. I don't trust the state to dole out justice, because they don't and won't. I just don't think it applies much once you're in the Nuremberg situation. What are you gonna not execute them? Come on.
You dehumanize yourself when you become a nazi. That's the whole thing about being a nazi.
