I’d have been fooled by that packaging too, it does say vinegar but I could easily have assumed they were salted. And it may be that you like those ones better. But I’m team salt all the way.

Oh I’ve just realised that’s a clear packet! Then yes, the silvery colour is the giveaway. And the salted are mostly in tins/jars. Except for Brindisa who have to be extra 🤣

How do they come? Farah bought James some fancy Ortiz anchovies for Xmas. In a jar. I will get your M&S ones. That's the benchmark now.

Yes, Ortiz is what I meant, not Brindisa! They sell the really fat ones in flat packets, like ham. Delicious but not much change out of a tenner. M&S ones are about £2.50. And still excellent.
