Right? I keep wondering when the fresh water conversation is going to start. The Midwest/Great Lakes region is the best kept secret in the U.S. I hope it’s never discovered.

California native living in Wisconsin.I’ve said this for a long time. It is well past the time that Great Lakes region, California and PNW separate and become their own country. Parts of East Coast feel free to join if they have same values. Any MAGA state is on their own and under Trump’s thumb.

The red states seem to enjoy punishing themselves with their policies. I don’t get it. I’m kind of over it. So, if the blue states don’t want to fund the red states anymore and want to band together, I’m all for it.

Yep! Plus with climate change, Michigan, Minnesota, etc are pretty good places to hunker down

I don't want to give much away if anybody wants to check it out, but there are some plot points about the Great Lakes in this graphic novel that I found interesting. Good read if you like futuristic post-apocalyptic settings in your storyline.
