I think this when I visit family in Seattle or go back east to Baltimore and drive anywhere outside the city. There's just trees..... everywhere!

I love the trees, but we do have a ridiculously overprotective attitude above them. There are millions and literally none shall ever be cut! I’m like bruh
In Charlotte, they just clear-cut for these new townhouse developments. But otherwise, Charlotte is a decent size city dropped into a rain forest and if any street, even downtown, were blocked off for a few weeks, the forest would come roaring back. I love the trees so much.
I like them! It was so odd driving up the freeway from Baltimore to Gettysburg and it was either a bunch of trees or a bunch of crops wherever I went!
The crazy thing is nearly all of the trees in my area were gone a century ago for crops and you’d never know it today
And that isn't even counting the Chestnut Blight that wiped out so much of the remaining trees in the early 20th century! We've wiped and regrown at least twice in the past hundred years alone.
