Anyone planning on taking their 90 year old parents to a nearby Walgreens for their COVID booster for this fall, even if they reside in assisted living, even when their bldg has active COVID cases, you will NOT be able to get them a shot w/o a physician’s prescription. This is insane! 90 yrs old!😡😡😡

Is this Walgreens policy, or something RFK has puked up?

They said it was a recent change. Didn’t say by whom. I was so mad I didn’t ask. I had read before going that a script was needed for those under 65.

Looks to me, after looking at CBS and Fox Business (it was in my search results, sorry), that someone at your Walgreens of choice isn't understanding the new regulations. I do hope you're able to find an alternative, more caring pharmacist soon. (Some states have their own silly restrictions too.)

No, unfortunately we are in one of the 13 states (and DC) that everyone is required to have a prescription in order to get a COVID vaccine.

😞 I'm in Oregon. It's not one of the 13 states, but! Walgreens in Oregon has chosen to require prescriptions anyway. Walgreens is a Trump supporting shit pile.

I suspect it's the regime's idea. Trumplethinskin doesn't want the riff Raff getting something for nothing. Even if you're over 65 apparently.
