I’m disappointed that the LWV is not in support of the CA redistricting plan to counter the gerrymandered map that republicans in TX created. I understand that gerrymandering is a non democratic tool. But allowing only one side to do this will destroy democracy. It’s time to fight fire with fire.

Disavowing connection to the mailer is meaningless and insulting unless you also retract your opposition to the re-districting election.

Also disappointed in LWV for not supporting the long term strategic win that this short term tactic makes possible, I.e. keeping fair distribution of voting influence nationwide. Pleas reconsider your position for the long term - maintaining voting rights for all.
