Democrats barely held congress and the presidency for just two of those years and they passed a sweeping progressive agenda. Democrats and Republicans were close to an agreement on some reforms last year and Trump scuttled it.

Are you saying that people whose communities are being treated like conquered territory should give the government a gold star because one party might have eventually helped (despite saying they wouldn't and didn't when they had the chance) except they can't win elections and have no plan to start?
