He presents well, a happy warrior type, inspiring. His ideas are well within the Overton Window, but elections aren't won by policy. Cuomo is a hack. So yeah there was feeling involved: feeling that a sex pest hack was no fun and the energetic, assertive, smart guy might actually get things done.

Comments like this—and Trump’s “Rising Sun” complaints about Japan stealing our jobs and buying up our industries—make a lot more sense when you realize these people lost the ability to make new memories somewhere between 1995-2005. Really the whole country starts making more sense.
