Anti-union workers don't realize that their pay would be much less without the unions fighting for union wages.

It all depends on how strong your local is. I worked at a place that had always been union. The old folks told me about the time they went out on strike for almost 2 months. No strike fund. Some folks faced foreclosure because of 2 months of not paying the mortgage. 2 months of lost wages and
benefits. The union finally settled on a new contract. They went back for a dime an hour. Not retroactive. All the folks basically said "We showed them!" and "We won!". How long did that dime an hour take to make up what they lost? Unions are good IF the local actually fights for it's members.
In the end, it is the members of the union that vote to go back to work. Maybe they are partially to blame?
Yep that's a sad story. Probably not a usual outcome. But because people will repeat that one unfortunate story, that's what dumbasses will remember. 🤬
Whenever I'd get an email from my union asking if I agreed to their negotiated pay rise, I'd forward the email to 5 non-union work mates asking if they were happy with the pay rise. They never replied LMAO.
I am a little business owner but for solidarity i pay free a small part of money to Support IG METALL. The world needs to have organized power to workes, employees in opposition to the very rich - if not they bring all down for the sake of shareholders value www.igmetall.de
