It would be hilarious if Trump brings up the United States part in winning WWII. That always drives Russia nuts. 🇷🇺: WE DID IT ALL BY OURSELVES! 🤬

Both Stalin and Khrushchev openly stated that without aid from the US the Soviet Union would have lost the war. The clearest way to grapple with the size and importance of Lend Lease is to realize that the tonnage shipped for Lend Lease was ~equal to that shipped for the US military in Europe.
The Studebaker trucks alone (200K) were huge. And they were only a small part of the total.
Yep. Tons of coal, oil, iron ore, and steel where also shipped through Vladivostok early in the war. The "industrial miracle" of relocating Soviet factories east of the Urals while preventing the complete collapse of the economy was not really a miracle.
😅
He won't. 🍊🤡 probably missed that history lesson.
He’s done it several times before
I didn't know. But it makes sense, isn't he the best president of the best country in the world ever? 🥳
Update: Putin brought up Lend-Lease in WWII
Interesting. Does Putin want to remind people that the US has helped Russia in the past, to make it easier for Trump to agree to it? Or to give Trump bragging rights if he helps Russia like no one has ever seen before? And everybody knows it.
Just to please Donnie. Europeans and the Ukrainians are bad, they're just always demanding something.
Did RU ever clear its WW2 Lend Lease debt?
for anyone outside the US , this whole thing was absolutely sickening to watch. And i mean really really sickening.
we should always remember that the lend lease won WWII, not the Russians🤡
We should also always remember that before Operation Barbarossa, the Soviet had their own version of Lend-Lease going on, supplying Nazi Germany with fuel, food, and raw materials as well as by helping them circumvent sanctions.
Let the lesson be that without the red army, the western allies would have lost. Without western supplies, the red army would not have lasted a single year of combat. We need each other, back then and right now. We're social animals.
Let the lesson be that the United States and its allies support Slavic nations invaded by fascist thugs. It was true in 1941 when the fascists were German and it is true today when the fascists are Russian. Get your fascist thugs out of Ukraine.
Nobody needs Russia for anything but to get the fuck out of Ukraine Negotiating with the aggressor and agreeing to territorial concessions led to the situation where total capitulation was the only acceptable outcome That is THE LESSON
Imagine the talk would have been held by Tucker Carlson 🤣 Putin speaking about his invented version of History Tucker nods Trump speaking about his invented version of History Tucker nods
It will make his master unhappy, so very unlikely.
There's a pretty good take on all this by Phillips O'Brien for those who'd like to geek out- www.amazon.com/How-War-Was-...
That would require Trump or any of his staff to have a modicum of knowledge of history, so unlikely. But it would be funny!
I especially love how we pretty much manhandled Japan on our own, and the USSR only declared war against them AFTER we nuked them.
