Maybe it is a cultural difference in the reporting habit, but an ever increasing death toll this long after the explosion makes me think the authorities don't know who was in the plant when it blew up. Are they just rounding up warm bodies to work in an explosives plant?
And/or people dying in the hospital
My apologies, I thought they were still finding bodies/bits of bodies and compiling the death toll from that.
Also a possibility.
I seem to remember earlier reporting along those lines.
Let's not discount the possibility of someone using this accident to account for why their least-favourite neighbour or spouse hasn't been seen in a while. "Ohh my beloved, screeching harpy of a wife JUST started working there, what a tragedy!"
An explosion in a gunpowder factory only caused trauma to her forearms, head, and shoulders! What are the odds? 🔨
Apparently a little worse than 1 in 20!
Help Wanted.
