That would be the "Russian" engines designed prior to 2022 which contain sanctioned parts from the West? Or will they wait for the entirely domestic sourced Russian engines to be built by magical forest creatures?

They could scavenge a few from the Great Patriotic War museums. Keep the Chinese happy.
The quality though. Everything Russian is shit except for piss.
Buying engines from Russia will reduce China’s aircraft fleet. Maybe the train industry is pushing for this? 🤷♀️
Bad engines.. not nearly as efficient.. & heavier...
Chinese plane + Russian engine = falling debris
It’s not in serial production
On top of that, the Russian government has cut funding for the civilian aviation production
Buying Russian aircraft engines is a) a waste of money, since you likely won't get it, or b) just facilitating assisted suicide, since they'll burst into flames midair.
Jet engines isn’t something that Poitr can bang together in his shed. Alot of advanced machining needed.
Do NOT fly on a plane with russian engines!
Yes and no. They're far more powerful, reliable, and light, than Chinese engines. And in terms of raw power, they're equals to western engines. Where they lack is cost controls : fuel & maintenance costs are gonna be severe on the bank account.
"...the transition to Russian units, which differ from Western standards, will require certain adaptation measures." They chiefly differ from Western standards by being... completely imaginary
🤣
😂😂😂
This is, in fact EXCEPTIONALLY amusing for those of us who have been keeping up with current events in Russia the last few years, as well as the absurd idea China has been buying US engines aside from those on commercial aircraft.
How did the gargoyle get them to believe his japping????
China has done some dumb things, but not that dumb.
This sounds like it is an excellent opportunity for a Chinese exploratory committee to examine russian engines an manufacturing techniques in order to, we'll say optimize mass production. Bonus: Chinese active measures destroy russian assets needed to produce engine in the russia.
All three?
