I'm sure we'll find out, but in some states, one can buy a "retired" cop car for dirt cheap at auction and lights and sirens are easily bought online. It's ALL too easy to access if you ask me.
That's... Unsettling. Especially since our province had a similar situation in 2020 during the lockdown, where someone impersonating a cop and killed 16 people including a cop, and nurses: www.abc.net.au/news/2020-04...
