1997, 2010 and 2014 all were finalists. 1997 may be the best Giants example. We had lost for so long, I didn’t think a team like that was possible.

2010 at least was coming off a resurgent 2009 season. 97 came out of nowhere but being in HS hard to remember what expectations was for that season outside of absolute insanity for trading Matt Williams
