Yes & 💯 unethical. EX: during the campaign, if Biden stuttered over a name, this lapse made Page 1 news + hand-wringing over his age. EX: when candidate Trump spouted nonsense, journalists would "sane wash" his nonsensical utterances, making him sound more thoughtful than he is. WHY?
And remember the age thing disappeared when Joe pulled out, but Rump is what, 2 years younger? And the sane-washing is (i don't mean this as a pun) insane.
Definitely remember that media unfairness. Biden had lapses, yes, but never ranted about sharks, windmills, Hannibal Lecter, etc. #FYI NYT journo Maggie Haberman is the daughter of Trump's former publicist.

Yes, that was nasty. I agree. With all due respect to Joe Biden, imo he should not have listened to his wife instead of his physician. He should have announced he was NOT running & opened the floor for a proper Democratic primary. Instead he pushed forward beyond his capacity. And we got Cheeto.
Yes the timing was all atrocious. But the worst timing was those undermining him, well after primary time. That was the absolute worst timing.
