A person must have maturity, sensitivity, and commonsense to see how s/he comes across to others. I doubt Trump has any of that. 💰 Also, if people have a lot of money, there will be moochers, sycophants & hanger-ons ... none of whom would dare to puncture the illusions.

A man I know grew up in a wealthy family (in a foreign country). He owned horses. The family had a pool, fancy cars, etc. As a kid he assumed boys who came to swim in his pool or borrow a car or take his clothing were "friends." 💰 He knows better now that wealth attracts "takers."

Yeah, i can't imagine that part of it. It would be nightmarish for me. Famous and wealthy, especially. Any one of your 'friends' could sell secrets to the media at the drop of a hat.

And you don't need to be "famous" nor very wealthy. All you need to have is an asset people covet & will flatter you in order to gain access to it. It's only when that asset is gone that you will realize those "friends" no longer phone.
