Happy Survivor Anniversary to me! 🎉🥳 41 years ago today, I survived a horrific violent crime committed by a stranger who was never apprehended. Healing has been an ongoing journey for me, but I’m so grateful I didn’t die on that public bathroom floor. Always a heavy day but I’m happy I’m here 🥰

Oh my gosh, i can't even imagine what that healing journey must have taken. Not to know who or to have any sense of justice. You are strong and brave beyond words.
Awww — thanks! For me, one of the most difficult parts was that he was never caught because I was internally convinced he would continue & his next victim wouldn’t survive. I perseverated on that for years. And if he was caught, I was utterly terrified about having to face him again 🤷♀️
