Yep. Republicans have been dumping IOUs for their billionaire tax cuts for decades. A lot of these tariffs haven’t even been collected. It’s really an accounting trick. If you don’t take possession you don’t pay the tariff. Lawsuits are piling up but it’s cheaper to litigate than pay the tariff.
