had a discussion with a friend related to this where we presented a hypothetical where we HAD to come up with a 'mario mushroom but it drug' joke that was at least a little funny it was. really difficult because theres not much place for that joke to really go.

best i could come up with was an observational bit on how the super mushroom resembles the real-life fly amanita by having mario mistakenly eat the latter cut to a dazed, nauseous Mario doubled over while a disgruntled Luigi puts up a sign distinguishing the two shrooms to prevent future mishaps
