With all the FURORE over the Lego Game Boy I was inspired to look out my old bugger and play through Super Mario Land. Still my favourite Mario. The one I grew up with and it always brings a smile to my face. The ending theme is easily top 3 Nintendo tunes too. A peach. A DAISY. Etc.
Was the first mario game I actually owned and I still kinda treat it's main theme as the actual mario theme. That ending theme is great too.
The first Mario game I owned, and I will always have a soft spot for it. Plus, I love how downright *odd* it is.
While I do prefer Mario Land 2 (it’s my favorite Mario game), the original Mario Land is fantastic. It’s got absolutely killer music
I really liked Mario Land 2, I think it's the only Mario game I've finished.
Back before the internet, I learned how to speed run Mario Land just to listen to this song lol
