What’s difficult to dismiss is his role in the org. Not a green horn with no PR skill, he’s supposed to get paid as much as he does because he has talents to match his expertise. He masked off here as a failed-upwards dork who can’t do a simple, obvious task. He’s the one who should be laid off.
