(1/3) I just finished Nuclear War: A Scenario by Annie Jacobsen. An engrossing and detailed look at a likely sequence of events following the moment a single ICBM is launched at the United States. If there is superlative to the word ‘terrifying,’ this book is it.

(3/3) The book I read before this was the brutally graphic, depraved, and irredeemable novel, Header by Edward Lee. Ironically, of the two, Header was the book that made me want to take a Silkwood shower after reading it.
