As reported over the weekend Baroness Minouche Shafik coming in as an economic adviser. Looks like they're also trying to hire a new head of the policy unit but haven't found anyone yet.

He's had more reshuffles than a coked up croupier, it's not going to work if you have a chancellor that hamstrings governmental spending with a ludicrous insistence on protecting the mega rich and imposing self defined fiscal rules which mean absolutely nothing in real economic terms.
Jones is terrible. A supposed socialist who’s belittled disabled people when defending dangerous welfare cuts. They’re just rearranging deck chairs while their party sinks to lower and lower depths of both morality and quality.
UK Labour government has aided and abetted Israeli war crimes. They will be a one-term party.
Darren Jones is extremely capable and I suspect will make a difference in getting stuff moving. Baroness Shafik clearly very highly qualified to be Chief Economic Advisor. They sound like positive moves to me.

Jones is an extremely impressive individual. The only element of any shake up that is going to substantially change anything is the removal of the political Smeagol McSweeney.
