Whether or not these people are actual foreign agents is almost irrelevant. Their actions are observationally equivalent to & indistinguishable from the actions actual foreign agents would be taking. The consequences of our total Article I constitutional crisis, right here:

You have lost your grip. There hasn't been a comintern in 50 years since the sino Soviet split. Russia is liberal now with fake elections. China has dynamic markets. Vietnam is an American trading partner. Get a hold of yourself.

It is plain, the Putin regime directly controls the White House, the presidential cabinet, and the US government. We don’t know why, but that is crystal clear.

So like trials and prison, right? Clear violations of their oaths, right? Because unless we slam some fingers in drawers, this is the new normal.

The US is working hard to supplant the UK as the world's greatest evil empire, so anything that reduces, damages US power is good for the rest of the world. If anyone is going to suffer from US policies it should be Americans first. Looks like Trump was the lesser evil not Harris.

All of the leadership in the executive deserve to go to prison. Can't get them for treason. Unsure what law was broken and what to charge them with. Sabotage? Undermining the country? Willful destruction of the gov't? If we could link any deaths, depraved-indifference murder?

You don't need war for treason. It also includes "adhering to [the United States'] enemies" or "giving them aid and comfort." Conviction requires at least two witnesses to the same overt act or a confession in open court.

Enemies of the United States can only exist during a formal state of war. Other acts such as aiding a foreign government are addressed through criminal charges of espionage, and more.

By law an enemy is ordinarily a foreign subject in some open hostility with the United States. There is no requirement for a formal declaration of war, though that does make the charge a lot easier to prove. For example, the AUMF functionally defined "enemies" without a formal declaration of war.

haveyouanywool.bsky.social @haveyouanywool.bsky.social

What law? In any event, what war? Mere open hostility by a foreign subject with the United States applies many people. That can't be the definition of "enemy" for constitutional treason purposes, because it would be overbroad and therefore contrary to the object and purposes of that provision.

Tulsi Gabbard served as Vice Chair of the Democratic National Committee (DNC) from January 2013 until her resignation on February 28, 2016. This means she was still in office when Russian intelligence services initially breached the DNC's network in mid-2015.
