I deleted the day after the election. I knew I needed to do it long before, but I wanted a complete news/social media blackout for a few days to protect my mental health, so I deactivated and haven't looked back.

Strangely enough, in the last week it's starting to settle down.

Also, no ads. Remember all the twitter ads every 3rd post? NOT HERE! It’s fantastic.

No obnoxious fake mobile game ads, no random likes and follows from porn bots, no disingenuous people asking stupid questions or saying the most off-the-wall shit for engagement... I am so glad I got rid of Twitter!

I spoke too soon... I also still see engagement bait, but neither happen nearly as frequently as on Twitter, and the fake ass mobile ads haven't created their ugly heads once.
