I'm just a moron Canadian who doesn't really get why Cracker Barrel is such a big deal in the first place, but ... what? *That* is what caused Conservatice America to melt down??

Its not a big deal. At least to any of us or the people we associate with. Only loud inbred maga idiots were mad.

honestly i think it was less of "country restaurant isnt 'murica-like" anymore and more of "how many more god forsaken companies are gonna ruin their logos via simplification"

I have to apologize, due to the pictures I read it the other way around. I thought the left was the new logo and the right was the old, and people were begging to make it simple again lol

nah you're good, its a stupid controversy either way. i've learned to never underestimate the ability of political americans to make literally anything an argument about politics

Cracker Barrel is not a big deal. It's a mediocre country-themed restaurant that's been on the decline for years now. That's why they rebranded...to try and appeal to a younger demographic. Conservatives just happened to make a mountain out of a molehill.

But maga is always so rational and collected about everything. They usually really think things through instead of impulsive and brash unwarranted outrage

consumerism; a lot of americans are extremely emotionally attached to brands and see corporations as people
