We aren't picking a candidate right now. We are picking a fighter, so we can have a candidate later. If it's decided it's Newsom, then it is. If we don't fight now, it's a moot point.

Supporting Newsom's resistance of Trump doesn't require championing him as a presidential candidate or accepting what's unacceptable about his policies. The actions of Newsom supporters are making it hard to do that.

Newsom's own actions make it hard to support him. "Mocking" trump online means little when he's also "mocking" trump sending forces into DC to round up homeless people, by sending police into CA cities to do the same.

I am a Newsom detractor and I don't claim anything I can't back with sources. Not saying ppl aren't doing that, but they certainly don't need to.
