Wait!?! You could watch TV on a #SEGA GameGear! Yes you could back in the early 90's, you'd be quite the cool kid or adult, with this TV Tuner peripheral If you ever saw or used one back in the day we'd love to hear from you Afternoon Bluesky #GamersUnite ##RetroGaming

If you can find something broadcasting an analogue TV signal, you can still use it… 🙂 Or for some more fun, hook it up to a VCR and you can have anything passed through it (like other games consoles) outputting on the Game Gear’s screen!

Sometimes we'd watch old video consoles on the GameGear screen if you positioned the aerial near an old RF analogue output cable. You'd get quite a clear picture depending on where it picked up the signal best. 😆 We also did attempt to hook it up to a VCR player about a decade ago

Had a buddy with one of these. You could just about get through 2 episodes of Star Trek before the batteries died.
