I feel this. Learned about The Tulsa Massacre in 2020 binge-watching The Watchmen. Watched the first episode and was enraged I knew nothing about this atrocity before a DC Comics series. Still get mad and embarrassed. Started reading US history outside the white edit. Wish I had started sooner.
