In theory, a democratic society can replace its government. It doesn’t need to create a crypto currency to protect it from its government which the oligarchy will just manipulate to its own benefit anyway. As we are seeing now.

Bitcoin is a democratic system unto itself. See node runners. There are 10’s of thousands of us voting every ten minutes.
You think the Cheeto and his minions controls Bitcoin? Look harder. Bitcoin separates money and state. It’s a Trojan horse, a virus.
😂 One Oligarch, Michael Saylor, controls 4% of all Bitcoin in circulation and retail is paying 2% (fees and spread) just to convert dollars into and out of Bitcoin on Coinbase. Cool concept and maybe a few early adopters made out, but oligarchs and big corporations control it and making the $ now.
So you think having more Bitcoin means he controls the network? That is the old system you’re thinking of. Yes he his company has wealth, many do, that doesn’t mean it controls the network. Proof of work is a new concept for you, check it out.
A very concentrated group of interests control the supply and demand of Bitcoin trading on any given day. And for the average citizen to gain utility from it the fees have to come down by 90% as they are getting fleeced now. Neither of those two things will change anytime soon.

~75% of retail is losing money and getting fleeced because of the fees and market manipulation. Won’t change anytime soon.
Oh boy. The past 5 years it’s had an average CAGR of over 50%. I’m not sure what you’re talking about.
Much like Separation of Church & State, we also need Separation of Currency & State. I disagree, we absolutely needed to create a currency to protect us from the government. Especially from the MAGA Fascist government. Status Quo: print dollars, give them to the rich, screw the poor
