I haven't had a checkup for years (i always got vaccines, dental care, vision, etc.) because I have been healthy but I finally got one. I just found out I have hypothyroidism (minor) and now have to take Levothyroxine, a small dose. it is called preventative care and now saved my future expenses.

exactly. or simple accident. falling down the stairs. the opioid addiction is because of chronic conditions and many of those were due to injury. if you have a physical job your body pays the price. now take away healthcare and these people will die from street opioids like fentanyl.
