If you are stopped in a vehicle and are told to exit the car, don't argue, stay quiet and exit the vehicle. After that, keep your mouth shut. Don't answer questions. Refusing to exit the car gives them the power to arrest you even if the stop is unlawful. Don't hand yourself into a felony violation
