No.. Preservation does NOT mean things are available. Nintendo has LOTS and LOTs of their documentations preserved. Doesn't mean you get it. Library of Congress has millions of things preserved. Doesn't mean you get to see it. Even they say "Depends on copy right holders."

Well, then I think we should get to see them. In most cases I'm aware of though, preserving the thing means it becomes available for others to enjoy it. I don't like that copyright dictates who gets to read or watch or play what at any given time. If you disagree, cool.
