There's no rugged terrain in N England and Wales. The Dales and Snowdonia are famous for their flatness, suitable for airstrips, retail parks and wheelchair accessibility.

And obvs closer to the highland wind turbines, off shore wind farms than anywhere in Scotland.... Or maybe it goes by bus?
