It has never been about the money. In deep red Oklahoma the bumper stickers say "Another Republican working hard so YOU don't have to" and they have been fed that crap for years. Feeding that lie; that anyone needing help does not deserve it and is morally inferior
And just wait until the medicare/medicade cuts hit. The GOP leaders will have to say "sacrifices have to be made". The common citizen will not put up with this crap. GOP fanatics or not, citizens are not stupid.
Hate to disagree, but there is strong evidence many are...They vote and act against their own interests over and over.
